Tim Tron started his painting career in grade school, thanks to an extremely encouraging, and wonderful lady for a teacher named Rita Bradshaw. He soon began painting landscapes in his rural Indiana home. At the age of 12, he took his first portrait painting classes at the University of Evansville under the study of Mr. Fred Eilers.
When his grandparents moved to Florida, Tim followed them down to Ft. Myers, where he continued to paint wildlife, people and landscapes. He studied 2 years of Commercial Art at Edison Community College in Ft. Myers, with help from a grant from the Art Club of Ft. Myers. However, he soon learned art was very difficult to make a living at, especially for a realist. So, after trying various career fields, joining the Air Force, going back to college to earn a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, building a house in North Carolina, and starting a family, he finally once again found time paint.
Needless to say, after a long hiatus from painting, he returned to the studio to find his abilities only further matured. Now, back to his first love, he is painting again and building his portfolio with new pieces that show the latest level of abilities along with many life experiences to influence his style and passion.
